    Scholarship, academics, and grades are the mainstays of college life, and the sororities at Kent State University recognize the importance of academic success. Each sorority has a minimum grade requirement for joining and initiation, all of which are at least a 2.50 cumulative GPA. 
     
    Kent State's sororities want you to do well academically, and there are many programs in place to help.  Each chapter has its own academic programs to ensure its members are academic leaders, and many chapters have required study hours to assist you in time management and to create an environment to foster excellence.  Peer tutoring, study buddies, and scholastic awards are among the academic initiatives within our community.
